Lawn ornament

I’m basically sucking at writing here twice a week so thought I’d check in and update.

Chris and I are on Kauai. All we’re doing is flopping down on the beach, snorkeling (him), stuffing our  pie holes with chocolate covered macadamia nuts (me), and lying in people’s bushes taking pictures of cats (also me).

Oh, and drinking Mai Tai’s (both of us).

Our friends (o’hana) are here, too. They are from Kauai originally so there’s some good Hawaiiana being shared. I especially love that part, maybe even more than the macadamia nuts. I made friends with a little hen that sits on my foot. This morning I finally caved and gave her some English muffin and now I might be taking a hen (and some Mina birds) home in a carrier.

Also, I wrote this thing on my iphone and have no shit clue what it looks like or if the pictures are even right side up. No edits, no filters, just pog. And a side of silver tequila.

Just to be clear: by sharing this I do not mean to brag. But if I manage to sneak the mina birds home, then I will brag.
